Plain-English summary: We only collect what you give us, we use it to prepare your brief and follow up, we don't sell it, and we'll sign an NDA for paid engagements. Our governance briefs are advisory assessments — not legal advice or a compliance certification.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information 12th House AI, LLC ("we," "us") collects through this website and our AI governance services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to data brokers.

How we use it

How it's handled

Intake submissions are processed on US-domiciled infrastructure. Where we use AI to help draft a brief, we use models running on infrastructure we control or US-domiciled providers; we do not route your intake to foreign-adversary AI services. For paid engagements involving sensitive material, we will execute a mutual non-disclosure agreement before you share it.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (for example, email and CRM tooling), bound to handle it on our behalf, or where required by law.

Retention & your choices

We keep intake information only as long as needed for the purpose above, then delete it. Consistent with the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act and similar laws, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted — email info@12thhouseai.com and we will act on verified requests promptly.

Terms & Disclaimer

By requesting a governance brief or using materials from this site, you agree to the following.

The brief is advisory — not legal advice or certification

Our AI governance briefs, assessments, and decision cards are informational, method-based assessments. They are not legal advice, not a compliance certification or attestation, and not a guarantee of any audit, regulatory, or legal outcome. They do not create an attorney–client relationship. You remain responsible for your own compliance decisions; consult qualified legal and compliance counsel before relying on any finding.

Framework language

Where we describe our method as aligned with, mapped to, or mirroring a standard or authority — for example the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, Virginia EO 46, or VITA EA-225 — we mean structural alignment with that framework. We do not claim certification to, or accreditation under, any standard, and we are not a certifying or accrediting body.

AI assistance & provenance

Consistent with our own governance discipline, briefs are prepared with AI assistance and human review, with the authorities and sources we rely on cited in the deliverable. We disclose this on every AI-assisted output.

No warranty; limitation of liability

This site and any free brief are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 12th House AI, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or a free brief. Paid engagements are governed by their own written agreement, which controls in the event of any conflict.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
